About
We are Kristin and Lauren. We have been friends since the day Kristin was born - she’s the younger one. We went through all of life’s phases together from playing with Barbie’s to teenage dating to going out to bars. You name it, we’ve been through it together. And now we are experiencing the life of raising kids together. We’ve been by each other’s side through it all, including Lauren’s challenge with late-teenage pregnancy and Kristin’s struggle with infertility. We’re here to share all of it and hopefully help/inspire some mamas and dads along the way.
Lauren
I’m Lauren. I’ve been married to my husband, John since 2012. I have two daughters - born in 2005 and 2015. I also have a son born in 2019. I had my first daughter when I was 20 years old - and married then divorced her dad. I met my current husband when my oldest was 1 year old. She’s known him in her life since she can remember. I’m here to share all the love and chaos of blended families, raising teenage girls, having a large age gap between kiddos, and raising my first boy (I only have sisters - so zero experience with raising boys) all while attempting to keep the spark in our marriage!
Kristin
I’m Kristin. I’ve been married to my husband, Jason since 2021. I have two stepsons, born in 1996 and 1997 (yes my husband is 17 years older than me!), and we have a son born in 2024 and a soon to be daughter born in 2025. I was my husband’s personal trainer for 1.5 years before we started dating, got engaged in 2 months, and then married 6 months after that. I share the love and chaos of blended families with Lauren, and I’m also here to talk about the struggles we had of infertility, and now what it’s like to have 2 kids under 2 while trying to keep the love real in our marriage!
